 On November 30th, Shu Yinbiao, Chairman and Party Secretary of State Grid Corporation of China, held talks with Party Xiaolong, Deputy Secretary of the Temporary Party Committee of Xiong'an New Area, in Beijing. Shu Yinbiao stated that in the future, including investment in improving the main grid structure, State Grid Corporation of China's investment in serving the development of the Xiong'an New Area power grid will exceed 100 billion yuan. Both sides exchanged views on the planning and construction of the power grid and the development of high-end industries in Xiong'an New Area, and reached a consensus on further deepening cooperation and promoting the intelligent, green, and innovative development of Xiong'an New Area.

As early as April this year, after the announcement of the plan for Xiong'an New Area, State Grid Corporation of China had already established the State Grid Corporation of China to serve the development of Xiong'an New Area, and formed the State Grid Hebei Xiong'an New Area Power Supply Company to study and formulate the preliminary construction plan for the Xiong'an New Area power grid. Propose to build a world-class green smart grid with a high starting point, high standards, and high quality that is "green, low-carbon, intelligent, efficient, friendly, convenient, and strong and reliable", supporting the construction of a green and smart new city, making Xiong'an Power Grid a banner of large-scale urban power grid demonstration, a benchmark for smart city power distribution systems, a model for high-quality and inclusive power supply services, and a brand for clean and efficient energy consumption.

According to national planning, the starting area of the new district is about 100 square kilometers, the mid-term development area is about 200 square kilometers, and the long-term control area is about 2000 square kilometers; Electric power construction is an important part of the supporting infrastructure construction in the new area, and it is expected that the distribution network and new energy will become a huge market space for the power grid and distribution enterprises. It is expected to open up a cumulative investment scale of nearly 115.7 billion yuan in the long-term distribution network. If the energy construction in the new area is mainly based on distributed photovoltaics, it is expected that after the planned area of 2000 square kilometers is completed, it will bring about a distributed photovoltaic construction market of about 48 billion yuan; In the medium term, it is expected to bring about a market space of 3.41 billion charging facilities at the same time. Smart grid, distribution network leaders, and new energy equipment companies will benefit significantly.

Due to the important positioning of Xiong'an New Area and the active promotion of State Grid, the construction of the Xiong'an New Area power grid will rapidly advance and drive the demand for related power equipment, benefiting power equipment related enterprises.
